Financial Options

“How much will a care home cost?” is an important question for families considering the option of care. The answer will vary depending on the individual and their care requirements. Sunrise offers tailored, personalised care to ensure that the specific needs of residents are met in full – and this means that our care does not come in the form of ‘off the shelf’ packages.

The actual cost for each individual will therefore depend on a number of factors, such as the level of care required and the nature of the care home that they are in. Your local Sunrise care home can help you with every aspect of calculating the cost of care at Sunrise through an assessment of personal needs.

Companion Care

Sunrise’s Companion Living suites offer the perfect solution for partners, relatives and friends, so no-one has to face the difficulty of being separated, and financial responsibilities can also be shared.

Visiting arrangements

As our residents are all particularly vulnerable to the COVID-19 infection, we have taken the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all visits from relatives and friends, unless in exceptional circumstances. We do not take this decision lightly; reducing visitors into our homes will help protect the health and safety of residents which is our priority. Visits from healthcare professionals and for matters relating to health and safety continue with appropriate precautions.

Our intention is to follow public health advice to determine when visits will return to normal. We will continue to do our best to support residents to keep in touch with loved ones via other methods, such as phone and video calls, letters or emails in the short term.
