General FAQs

What type of food is served at the care home?

Each day, residents enjoy a choice of three delicious, well-balanced meals, prepared from scratch and featuring a variety of menu choices that support each resident’s unique nutritional needs. In fact, we can even provide you with a nutritional breakdown of each dish, so that you know exactly how much protein, fat, fibre, calories and so on is contained in the meals we serve.

For residents living with dysphagia – a condition which makes it hard to swallow – we prepare meals, pureed foods and smoothies that are not only easier to swallow, but also look appealing to eat. In addition, snacks and drinks are available 24 hours a day.

For dementia residents we have special hydration and snack stations, designed to maintain healthy levels of fluid intake and nutrition.
