Every Day is Different at Sunrise

So what do you want to do today? All of our care homes offer a host of activities to enjoy each and every day, including weekends. Musicians, dancers, and guest speakers are only a part of the story. We also host lots of different clubs and societies – many of them run by and for residents themselves.

Mind, Body and Soul - Activities at Sunrise

Bridge, Scrabble, film clubs, gardening, trips to museums, shopping centres or other places of interest…they’re all typical of the events you’ll find on the calendar in a Sunrise care home.

Of course, it’s entirely up to you how you spend your time and how many activities you choose to join. But, whether you’re a social butterfly or a more reserved individual, you’ll never be short of ways to pass your time enjoyably at Sunrise.

In fact, going to an event is a great way to see for yourself what life is like at your local Sunrise Community. Find your nearest Sunrise to see what’s happening this week. Most events are free and you’re welcome to bring along a friend or relative.

Visiting our homes: latest information

Due to the latest national restrictions, we continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis, following public health advice. We’ve a detailed set of criteria to inform when an individual home can be reopened safely to limited visiting either by families or existing residents. The majority of our homes are open for new residents.

How we’re keeping our care homes safe

At Sunrise Senior Living UK, the health and happiness of our residents is of the utmost importance. It’s why over 90% of our care homes are rated as Good or Outstanding by the CQC. That’s why we’ve put in place a range of rigorous measures to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection within our homes, and to protect the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents and the team around them.
