No one describes their experience at Sunrise of Virginia Water better than our very own residents and families. Read some of our favourite testimonials below.
When Dorothy Lacey joined us for a respite stay she was, as she says, feeling very "low". Staying at Sunrise was a breath of fresh air, which gave Dorothy the lift she needed to take life by the horns once again.

This family member - who prefers to remain anonymous - and her sister were left "feeling flat" by their experience of searching for suitable care homes for their aunt...until they found Sunrise. See their story by clicking here.
As with every resident at Sunrise, we see the whole person. Not only who they are now, but their life history and the experiences they have enjoyed. Hilda Flint's family wanted us to share this description of their mother's life. "We should like to thank the management, carers and staff at Sunrise for all the care and love they gave Hilda, our dear Mother, during the time she was there. Thank you." said her son, David.
I have been very impressed with your care at this difficult time.

How likely would you be to recommend Sunrise of Virginia Water? Extremely Likely
My mother has been in Sunrise of Virginia Water for over two years. As she gets very anxious and distressed at times, I was very worried about how she would react to covid 'lockdown'! I needed have worried! Sunrise has been excellent, and Mum has been fine - even when she tested positive. She has discovered she loves her room and has re-found the ability to use the phone. And relatives have been kept informed at every stage. All excellent and arrangements for limited visiting seem possible and workable.

So wonderful to see Mum safe and well after the months of lockdown. She is happy with her care and so are we!
It was wonderful to be able to visit my mother during these troubled times of a capsized world. What is particularly special at Sunrise of Virginia Water is the warmth and care provided by the exceptional staff here.
My parents moved in March 2020 and 5-days later they were in lockdown. The family were a little concerned that the life they were expecting in the home would not now happen. We needn't have been concerned, my parents have thoroughly enjoyed themselves, the staff work tirelessly to keep everyone engaged and active. My father has actually blossomed with all the new interests, allowing my mother to relax and recoup her energies. Brilliant!!
Due to the latest national restrictions, we continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis, following public health advice. We’ve a detailed set of criteria to inform when an individual home can be reopened safely to limited visiting either by families or existing residents. The majority of our homes are open for new residents.
At Sunrise Senior Living UK, the health and happiness of our residents is of the utmost importance. It’s why over 90% of our care homes are rated as Good or Outstanding by the CQC. That’s why we’ve put in place a range of rigorous measures to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection within our homes, and to protect the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents and the team around them.
