One of the reasons why every Sunrise home is much more than just a care home is the team of people working there. Every hour of every day, Sunrise team members are working to make sure that our residents enjoy life as fully as possible. Here are just a few of the people you’ll find at your local Sunrise care home.

Tina Dawson, General Manager

Tina DawsonI am proud to say I recently joined the Sunrise team. I originally qualified as a nurse in 1992 and I have spent the last 13 years as a manager in various health and social care organisations. I love being part of this Community and seeing the residents enjoying their lives here. I am passionate about supporting the team to be the best they can be and seeing how much joy they bring to the residents makes each day very special.

Dee Lall, Deputy Manager

Purley - Dee Lall

I am a qualified Nurse with over 30 years experience in this field. I have completed Certified Courses in Psychiatric Nursing and Psychology and have worked in various departments in hospitals caring for patients of all ages.

In 2000 I started working with the elderly and found it very rewarding. It is a career where there are always challenges, but the rewards are greater. At Sunrise there is something for everyone.

Rebecca Peters, Director of Community Relations

Purley - Rebecca Peters

I am Rebecca, the Director of Community Relations at Sunrise of Purley. My previous roles have given me experience in the care industry, NHS as well as various commercial sectors. I live locally with my husband and my dog Dolly. I am passionate about the area, our community and residents. I am very proud to work at Sunrise of Purley and be able to help make a real difference to people’s lives. I really enjoy spending time getting with our residents, they make me smile every day.

Amanda Hartnett, Activities Co-ordinator

Amanda HartnettI have worked at Sunrise of Purley for the last 4 years, initially in housekeeping and then moving over to Activities. I have previously worked locally as a housing officer. I have been the Activities Co-Ordinator since 2018, which is role that I enjoy very much. It is a real privilege to work closely with our residents on a one to one and group basis every day.

Jennifer Forder-Groen, Head Housekeeper

Jenny Forder-GroenI have worked as a Carer and as a Head Housekeeper in five star hotels for the last 25 years. In care I have worked with adults with Dementia and young adults with learning disabilities. Now as the Head Housekeeper at Sunrise of Purley I can put all my experience into practice and make sure our wonderful community is kept to the high standards that everyone enjoys and expects.
