Pottery Club – Stimulate your creativity by making a variety of pottery items and take away your treasures once baked: The last Wednesday of each month from 3pm

Pastimes Tea Dance - A chance to get together and dance the afternoon away to the dulcet tones of our favourite singer, Barry Stephens. Tea and Cakes included: The third Thursday of every month from 3pm

Become a Dementia Friend An Alzheimer’s Society initiative to give an understanding of Dementia in a Memory café atmosphere among friends: Every second Wednesday of the month from 3pm

Tai Chi – Every other week on a Thursday from 10am

Arts and Crafts – Every other week on a Thursday from 2.30pm

Classical Listening  –  Every Tuesday from 2pm

Afternoon Socials -  Every week day from 3pm

Excursions – Take a trip out and about with regular journey's to local sites. Enjoy the change of scenery every Tuesday & Thursday 10.00 - 12.30 and 14.00 - 16.30

We are lucky enough to be joined again by the fantastic Ren Jenkins for a 'Handling History' talk. Ren, a historian, will be bringing in museum pieces and items of historical interest to show and discuss with everyone.

We hold a monthly Dementia Friends Session at Sunrise of Purley. Dementia Friends Information Sessions are run by volunteer Dementia Friends Champions, who are trained and supported by Alzheimer's Society. Each Information Session lasts around 45 minutes to one hour. You will learn more about dementia and how you can help to create dementia friendly communities.
