Lisa Burrows, General Manager
Sunrise of Mobberley offers a superb tranquil retirement option for those with a love of the countryside. As general manager, a registered nurse myself with over 30 years' experience and previous matron, I set exceeding high standards of nursing care. I am passionate about the delivery of high quality care to seniors and proud to lead a team of dedicated and knowledgeable professionals here at Mobberley of Sunrise. As within health & social care sector, we strive each day to ensure that we create a culture of integrity and professionalism based on the Sunrise Mission and Core Values. My favourite part of the day is time spent with our residents, either in the Bistro joining them for a cup of tea, or in the activities lounge, hearing how we've made a positive impact on their life, and understanding how we can continue to grow and meet their diverse needs. Whenever I have spare time I enjoy rambling through the countryside with my family and our springer spaniel.
Lisa Moss, Deputy Manager
With extensive clinical experience gained within the prestigious University Hospital of North Staffordshire, I am passionate about resident care, well-being and independence. As a registered nurse, for over 13 years specialising in trauma and orthopaedic I am exceptionally proud to lead a team of excellent clinicians and care assistants to ensure that the Sunrise Principles of Service are delivered every day, and that exceptionally high standards of care are achieved. It was particularly refreshing when joining Sunrise that their main focus was to ensure that residents received high quality dignified care which, as a nurse I have always promoted. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, reading and appreciating fine wine.

I have worked for Sunrise Senior Living since 2013 and I still love my job today as much as the first day I join the company. As the first point of contact for anyone enquiring about Sunrise, I feel fortunate to be able to assist families and to deliver the bespoke service which Sunrise offers and which makes Sunrise such a special place. The most rewarding aspect is supporting families and seniors during what can be an emotional experience. I feel privileged to help in the journey towards the decision to join our community and then seeing new residents flourish and make new friendships, is the ultimate reward.
Tina Isaac, Activities Co-ordinator
I was delighted to join the talented activities team at Mobberley in April 2020. My background in school administration at the local Knutsford Academy gave me a wealth of useful experience to bring into my new role as Activities Coordinator. Our dedicated activities team spend time on a one-to-one basis as well as an enjoyable daily programme. I personally love gardening and flower arranging, and we are so fortunate to have such beautiful grounds, herb and vegetable gardens to utilise. My life-long passion for flower arranging and cake baking is been put to good use. We compile quizzes, puzzles, hold wine-tasting events and poetry clubs. Fun and laughter is always the best medicine, we all need a hand to hold, an ear to listen and a heart to understand. I love the idea that the sole purpose of my role at Sunrise is to bring smiles and joy to the faces of people in their senior years.
Adam Hedges, Dining Service Co-ordinator
I have been a chef for 25 years studying my profession in my early years at South Trafford College alongside working in the industry for experience, I also gained a scholarship at Paul Heathcotes School of excellence. From then I quickly developed my skills and climbed the ladder to achieve head chef status from an early age by proving my ability to showcase exceptional cookery and butchery skills, leadership and a keen eye for detail which were noticed very quickly when I joined Sunrise senior living of Mobberley as a chef in 2009 and from then I was quickly promoted to Dining Services Coordinator. Since that day more than 10 years ago now I have created, nurtured and managed a fantastic catering team who dedicate their time to delivering an extensive menu incorporating specialist diets and texture modified foods with our principles of service and core values to our seniors on a day to day basis. We also create special events and themed socials working alongside Activities and our Sales team of which are promoted for all family and friends to come and enjoy with their loved ones. I am a devoted father to my daughter, I enjoy dining out to gain knowledge of new food and drink trends-socialising and playing golf.
Sue Beckett, Head of Housekeeping
Working within the Senior Care sector for over 15 years has been a rewarding journey from rewarding domestic duties to heading a full housekeeping team. Responsible for health & Safety, infections control, hygiene and providing leadership and support to the Housekeeping and Laundry operations at our Community. I have worked for Sunrise of Mobberley since 2018 ensuring exceptional standards are maintained in line with CQC, Regulatory Bodies & Government requirements. Personally having very high standard I constantly strive to improve our already admirable services with the highest attention to detail and cleanliness. Having the advantage of a fabulous housekeeping team allows me to have pride in our fresh and clean home for our residents and in my spare time I love to watch are great Manchester United Football Club.
Alison Fawkner, Head Concierge
I joined Sunrise in December 2018 as Lead Concierge as part of a great team of receptionists who are all committed to providing excellent service to all our residents, professionals, families and visitors. Having over 20 years' experience within a customer service roles, and managing a number of reception and building management teams I have gained tremendous understanding of how important customer service is. Key aspects to this fantastic job is ensuring empathy, trust and comradeship and an on hands approach with true knowledge of each and every person who works and lives within our beautiful Community. It's a pleasure to work and to be part of the Sunrise of Mobberley Community who prides themselves on ensuring the residents needs and welfare are top priority. My job is rewarding and I am delighted to be part of the Sunrise Senior Living Team.
