Amanda Holland, General Manager
I have worked at Sunrise for several years, as General Manager I set exceedingly high standards. I am passionate about the delivery of high quality care to seniors and proud to lead a dedicated and knowledgeable team here at Sunrise of Hale Barns. The team at Hale Barns are all committed to supplying the very best care and it is always a pleasure to work alongside all of them. I am extremely passionate about our mission to champion quality of life for all seniors. Our resident-centred approach delivers high quality care built around our resident needs. I am proud to lead in our Principles of Service. I am passionate about my role and I don't think there is anything more rewarding than a whisper saying thank you and a smile. I can honestly say I have enjoyed every minute working at Sunrise and look forward to many more years here.
Suzi Sumegi, Deputy Manager
My Name is Suzi Sumegi, I am a qualified nurse and I have worked within the field of care for the past 34 years. I have gained an extensive knowledge base on care delivery and throughout the years, I have also obtained a certificate in management. I re-joined Sunrise Senior Living after a 7 year absence and I am thrilled to be re- joining a fabulous team. It is an honour and a pleasure to care for the residents of the Hale Barns Community, and it is my ultimate goal to ensure we as a team, deliver a high standard of care based upon a person centre care approach.
Sharon Parkes, Director of Community Relations
As Director Of Community Relations the most important and rewarding part of my role is taking the families on the journey from their initial visit to Sunrise Of Hale Barns to the moving in of their loved ones and ensuring it is a smooth, stress free process. It is a very enjoyable position that provides me with a great deal of job satisfaction.
Natalie Gribben, Reminiscence Coordinator
I have joined the team at Sunrise Hale Barns with over 10 years' experience of working in a Dementia specialist care home. I started as a Carer and worked my way up to Residential Lead gaining my Diploma in health and social care management in 2018. I spent a year out of care homes working within the supported living sector, however my heart is with dementia care hence joining the team here at sunrise. It is my responsibility to provide the Reminiscence community with a strong, focused and caring leadership to ensure the highest standards of person centered care through our residents journey while living at sunrise Hale Barns. I am passionate about the care sector and committed to my role here at Hale Barns as Reminiscence Co-ordinator.
Paul Jones, Assisted Living Coordinator
I have joined the team at sunrise of Hale barns with 16 years experience of working in care homes. I began my career as a care assistant primarily working with older adults living with a dementia. As my career progressed I have worked as unit a manager taking day to day responsibility for the delivery of quality person centred care and all aspects of team management. I have always enjoyed sharing the knowledge and skills I have gained through my training and experience with others and I have most recently held roles in learning and development within the care sector.
Tracy Marsh, Head Concierge
I have been here at Sunrise Hale Barns for 3 years as Lead Concierge. From my position at the front desk I am the first point of contact for visitors and residents alike. It is my privilege to be able to assist everyone and direct all those who come into our community. I enjoy all aspects of my job and being an important member of the Hale Barns Team.
Matt Outram, Dining Services Coordinator
I’ve worked for Sunrise Hale Barns since 2013 as a chef but began my cheffing career over 15 years ago. During this time I have worked in many multi award winning establishments in and around the Manchester and Cheshire areas. I’m passionate, hardworking and dedicated with a commitment to providing the best possible service to our community and guests. It’s an honour to be part of such a proactive and productive team and a pleasure to help enhance our resident’s quality of life.
Regina Faria, Activities Coordinator
I feel truly privileged to work in Sunrise. I love working with seniors and I am pleased to be a part of a great team of people who all strive for the same goals. I believe Activities team can bring joy and fun into our residents’ lives, our aim is to give them happy experiences and involve their family and friends where possible. Nothing makes me happier than see residents smiling.
