Sunrise of Frognal House

Meet Our Team

One of the reasons why every Sunrise home is much more than just a care home is the team of people working there. Every hour of every day, Sunrise team members are working to make sure that our residents enjoy life as fully as possible. Here are just a few of the people you’ll find at your local Sunrise care home.

David Clark, Activities and Volunteer Co-ordinator

David

I have worked for Sunrise at Frognal for 7 years. I came to Sunrise having worked for 6 years as a Training Development Co-ordinator for a national youth charity and I remembered the 'Joy of Service to Seniors' from when I worked as a care assistant during my college years so decided to change from working with minors.

I was attracted to Sunrise because of the principles of service to our residents and since then I often feel like a stick of Blackpool rock (if broken in half you’ll find Sunrise written through me) In my spare time I volunteer and am in charge of a sea cadet headquarters in Dartford where I enjoy canoeing, rowing and other adventurous activities.

Socially my partner and I enjoy country line dancing which I teach to my local community and at home I find gardening relaxing and enjoy spending time with my 12yr old daughter Sara and our pet dog Jack. My proudest achievement is my Honours Degree in Youth Leadership and Management and being presented with the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Rebecca Pearce, Director of Community Relations

Rebecca

I joined the team at Frognal in January 2014, bringing with me more than 18 years experience in health care. I am very happy working within the Sunrise team. I enjoy working closely with residents and their families, from their first call to us through to their move in to our community.

Helping people to make a positive change for themselves, or for a family member, and seeing a new resident flourish and make new friends within the community is very rewarding.

Harry Garston, Director of Community Relations

HarryI joined the team at Sunrise of Frognal in April 2017. I have an extremely rewarding role in guiding and supporting families through what can be a distressing time in choosing somewhere for their loved one to live. I get to spend time with residents and their families before a resident moves in and get to hear all about their interesting pasts. No two days are the same and it makes the job very interesting and varied.

Scott Wilkinson, Dining Services Coordinator

Scott Wilkinson - Frognal

I have had the pleasure of being part of the Sunrise team at Frognal house since January 2009 and have been in the catering trade for the past 30 years. My previous employment includes time served in the British Army, I have also worked in both the restaurant and hotel sectors and had numerous roles within healthcare before joining Sunrise.

Having worked in the care industry for over 16 years I have plenty of experience in all of the requirements which are needed in this sector of the business. To me food and the dining experience is a key element of everyday living and I am passionate about delivering nutritious and appetising meals to all of our residents whatever their dietary requirements might be.
