Bridge Club – Every Thursday at 3pm, join our Bridge Club to sharpen your skills or learn how to play. The session is led by Steve Lipman, an experienced Bridge Tutor. Single player or pair, no need to contact us first, just turn up. There is free parking and free tea, coffee and biscuits!

Shabbat at SunriseEvery Friday at 5pm. During the Autumn, Winter months, our Shabbat Service is led by a group of Volunteers from (TLSE) The Liberal Synagogue Elstree. During the Spring and Summer months, our Shabbat service is led by Rabbi Hoch from Chabad of Borehamwood & Elstree. As much as Shabbat may be an opportunity for families to spend time together, it is also a chance to enjoy the company of extended family and community in a relaxed home-like atmosphere. Memory Café1st and 3rd Tuesday every month, 10.30am – 12.30pm. Giving people living with memory loss, or dementia, and their carers the opportunity to meet regularly with other people in similar situations. Whether you are someone who has been diagnosed with the early stages of memory loss or you are caring for someone with memory loss, the Memory Café has been created for you. Includes Exercises, Arts and Musical Therapy.

Exploring Dementia Through Play - 21st September

Join us at Sunrise of Elstree, 21st September 11am - 4pm to experience our Reminiscence Taster day, showcasing our dementia-friendly activities, designed to engage those living with dementia. The workshops include arts and crafts designed to encourage a sense of purpose, dementia puzzles and games to stimulate and entertain, musical activities to spark memories, and pet therapy, to boost the feel good hormones.
