Flower Arranging workshop - Every Thursday morning at 10.30am. Residents meet in our parlour for our beautiful flower arranging class. Whether you are interested in flowers for the everyday, flowers for the home, growing flowers to arrange, creating floral design, creative floral art, or simply watching flowers being arranged, this is a lovely social session
T’ai Chi - Every Other Tuesday. Gentle T'ai Chi for health, happiness, fun and wellbeing. Some of the benefits claimed for T’ai Chi include; fewer falls, enhanced flexibility and balance, more energy, lower blood pressure and improved heart health, better mood and lower levels of depression, stress and anxiety. Can be performed whilst sitting or standing. A hit with our residents.
Baking Club - Every Wednesday at 2pm. Baking with Sian Bradley. Learn new recipes and impress your friends and family. We bake, we eat and we talk about it over coffee.
Art Workshop - Friday’s at 10am. Our experienced activities coordinator runs an art club for expressive art therapy. Kelsey uses the creative process of art to improve a person's physical, mental and emotional well-being
Resident for a Day - Last Friday of every month from 11am You are warmly invited to spend a day with us as a resident here at Sunrise of Edgbaston. Come and join us and take part in activities and sample our wonderful menu in this all day event. Please call to let us know if you're coming and we look forward to meeting you.
You are invited to the launch of our Acorns Suite, in partnership with Acorns Children's Hospice Charity. Join us for Prosecco and nibbles, meet the Acorns and Sunrise teams and help us raise awareness of the Acorns Children's Hospice. This event runs 2pm - 4pm and then again 6pm - 8pm.
