Welcome to Sunrise of Cardiff

For our latest information on Coronavirus click here.

I am delighted to be leading such a committed, empathetic and dedicated staff team. The food, the atmosphere and our environment makes Sunrise of Cardiff a very special place. Person-centred care isn’t just something we say. It guides our actions day to day. We are passionate about making a positive difference in our residents’ lives.” – Sara Reading, General Manager

Sunrise of Cardiff is set within the suburban location of Cyncoed, offering luxury, personalised dementia care and assisted living. We also provide respite care if your loved one is recovering after a hospital stay or you need a break from your everyday routine.

The entire team at our Cardiff care home is dedicating to enhancing the quality of life for all our residents. We know it’s the little things that can make a big difference. That’s why we encourage our residents to personalise their rooms and share their tastes and preferences in the dining room.

We also have a dedicated events coordinator planning a wide range of activities, events and local outings that keep our residents engaged and active.

Sunrise of Cardiff is located close to the city centre for shopping, theatres and museums as well as Cardiff Bay and Cardiff Castle for tourist attractions. We’re a short drive from the M4 motorway and close to transport links to make visits easy.

Residents also enjoy close proximity to several parks and beautiful outdoor areas.

All our Sunrise locations have team members that are qualified and experienced in offering palliative care. If you’d like to speak with someone about options and next steps, call us today or complete the form to arrange a visit.

RESPITE CARE

|
NOW AVAILABLE

Sometimes, you might want to organise a short, fixed term stay in a care home for a loved one, where care is on hand as and when they need it. This could be due to a period in hospital, at Sunrise we can help your loved on transition back into their usual routine, where care staff can assist them to get better.

You might also require a respite stay in a care home because a carer is unavailable for a short period due to work or family commitments. Our respite care residents get access to all of the outstanding services and facilities available at our homes.
