No one describes their experience at Sunrise of Bramhall better than our very own residents and families. Read some of our favourite testimonials below.
"One of the greatest advantages - nurses on hand 24 hours a day"
It is now just over 3 years since I came to live in Sunrise at Bramhall so I’ve had plenty of time to settle in. One of the biggest advantages of Sunrise is the fact fully qualified nurses are in attendance 24 hours a day. After living here for just over a month I fell and broke my hip. On leaving hospital I had full nursing care and the carers tended to all my needs, I hate to think how I would have coped in my own house.

"An ambience that is both warm and friendly"
The “Sunrise” has an ambience that is both warm and friendly where everyone uses first name terms which is informal and gives the residents a feeling of security and belonging. My sister-in-law Mary was diagnosed as suffering from dementia and the DHSS decided she needed to go into residential care. On arriving at the “Sunrise” she was made to feel very comfortable and quickly settled in and enjoys the “busy” nature of the home and the entertainments and is very content. We would like to thank the Reminiscence Care Team who always make us very welcome when we visit Mary at Sunrise Senior Living of Bramhall.

Very pleasant environment. Staff helpful and cheerful.
Plenty going on which community members are encouraged to participate in but are not forced to.

How likely would you be to recommend Sunrise of Bramhall? Likely
My mother is in her second `stint` staying at Sunrise (the first being for respite care.)
She has settled in well and despite the obvious concerns about moving someone who is over 90 years old she is now appreciating the environment and beginning to join in with some activities.
I cannot praise the home and staff enough, as from the moment you walk in there is a welcome from the concierge which then runs through all the staff.
My mother has had some short term medical issues which have been handled well by the staff.
A beautifully decorated home with a `Bistro`, small intimate public rooms where you can chat, a great restaurant with a good choice of food, and wine!
Regular daily activities to stimulate the mind (including Scrabble, where my mother, who thought she was a good player has met her match !)
I am happy she is being looked after very well in her final years by caring people in a homely setting.

How likely would you be to recommend Sunrise of Bramhall? Extremely Likely
My mother has developing Alzheimer’s and increasing frailty and suffered a fall at home and subsequent hospitalisation through October. We searched around for a suitable home for her that could cope with her developing needs and provide her with the environment we knew she would want for herself.
Sunrise has turned out to be an excellent experience for Mum and for us as her family who can see her regularly and see how well cared for she now is. We are all really pleased with the care she is receiving.

My mum has been at Sunrise of Bramhall for 16 months now and I cannot praise the place enough. It is more like a 4-star hotel than a care home. The food is fantastic. The staff are brilliant and always there to talk. The entertainment is second to none, whatever they are celebrating whether it be St Patricks Day or Easter, it's always a great day! The trips out are fantastic and again done with a lot of thought. We looked at lots of homes but none come close to here.

Sunrise has a welcoming atmosphere which I always sense on entering it. I am always greeted by friendly, smiling staff and there is always a "buzz" in the air as residents chat to each other and take part in activities.
All my friends are impressed by the home and say it is like a comfortable country house hotel.
My husband appreciates his bright, cheerful room with its spacious ensuite and view of the delightful gardens. I am grateful for the care that he receives from the staff who take a real interest in him and his needs.
