"One of the greatest advantages - nurses on hand 24 hours a day"
It is now just over 3 years since I came to live in Sunrise at Bramhall so I’ve had plenty of time to settle in. One of the biggest advantages of Sunrise is the fact fully qualified nurses are in attendance 24 hours a day. After living here for just over a month I fell and broke my hip. On leaving hospital I had full nursing care and the carers tended to all my needs, I hate to think how I would have coped in my own house.

"An ambience that is both warm and friendly"
The “Sunrise” has an ambience that is both warm and friendly where everyone uses first name terms which is informal and gives the residents a feeling of security and belonging. My sister-in-law Mary was diagnosed as suffering from dementia and the DHSS decided she needed to go into residential care. On arriving at the “Sunrise” she was made to feel very comfortable and quickly settled in and enjoys the “busy” nature of the home and the entertainments and is very content. We would like to thank the Reminiscence Care Team who always make us very welcome when we visit Mary at Sunrise Senior Living of Bramhall.

My elderly parents made the decision to move in together to Sunrise Bramhall to grow older together and make memories for when one soul mate dies.
This last year particularly Sunrise have been wonderful with both my parents sadly mum died in August after a terminal battle with cancer. My father was given two weeks to live due to sepsis in January. The care and devotion to my father was amazing encouraging him to eat and tending to his every nursing need. He has gone from strength to strength due to the devotion of the staff and is now back eating food putting on weight and having made memories with mum. She is still with him in spirit.

My auntie has been in since February 2017. We visited the home before she became a resident and were very impressed. She's had her teething troubles but that is due to her rather than the home staff. All the staff are friendly courteous and helpful. My aunties treatment has been first class.
My mother joined Sunrise Bramhall after a stay in hospital following a number of falls. Having decided for herself that she needed 24-hour care, she nonetheless came with more than a little trepidation. However, her initial worries were soon allayed by the staff who not only made her feel welcome but who went out of their way to put her at ease and sought to meet all her needs. All the staff treat her with respect and show her great kindness. The level of her care both personal and medical is excellent and cannot praise the staff highly enough. Housekeeping is of a high standard. Catering provides excellent meals from a varied menu. Manager and reception staff are always approachable and eager to help with queries and requests. In 3 months at Sunrise, my mother's general health and well being has greatly improved.
Sunrise is perfect for Mum, she appreciates the freedom to join in activities or stay in her ‘mini apartment’. It’s a good balance, there is always someone to talk to if she wants company and she can also have peace and privacy.
Very pleasant environment. Staff helpful and cheerful.
Plenty going on which community members are encouraged to participate in but are not forced to.
