I came to live at Sunrise two and a half years ago. I had been very unwell before and I was glad I made the decision to stay, it was the best decision I have made. I have been shown much love and care from all concerned and each day is filled with lovely activities. If you wish to take part. We are all like one big family. Thank you - Patricia
Sunrise is an exceptionally well run and caring facility. The standard of care, services and food are very good. Rooms are spacious and maintained to a high standard. All of the staff are very professional and show a high level of care and willingness to support each of the residents.
There are plenty of in-house activities to suit everybody including daily minibus tours etc.
Would highly recommend!
Only negative is the Wi-Fi service which is dreadfully slow! Has been reported repeatedly but not yet resolved.

How likely would you be to recommend Sunrise of Bassett (Southampton)? Extremely Likely
This is a very pleasant place to live and the standard of care very high. The one drawback is the constant noise in the restaurant and in the Bistro which makes conversation difficult for the hard of hearing. The gardens are a delight and very well kept.
Being old is not a lot of fun, but here it is made as good as it can be and I feel lucky to be here.

I like being here, it's good. I've well looked after. The exercise activities; yoga, pilates and general exercise are excellent. I wouldn't change any of them. I'm getting very good value for money. The food is lovely. I definitely enjoy going out for trips in the minibus. The nurses and carers are all kind people. They are very helpful when I'm not feeling well. There is a very high standard of cleanliness in the rooms and community areas. I have lots of fun. I enjoy the amusements.

I have been here for respite. I have been so well looked after. All of the staff are excellent. Food is first class. I enjoyed being on The Terrace floor because I had a door to the garden. It was just like having my own home and private bit of garden. I enjoyed the exercise classes and meeting new people. I have made good friends with the people on my table in the dining room. I am sorry to leave. I will miss all of the people here. I am in better health than when I came in. I'm walking properly now.
Sunrise is now my home, where I have been well looked after. I feel safe and secure. I', very happy and have made many new friends. all the staff are excellent. There are many activities on offer. I particularly like the quizzes, oral history, painting (although I'm no good at it), flower arranging and going out on trips in the mini-bus. The good is excellent and plentiful. If you want to put on weight (optional) this is the best place to be!
