Sunrise of Bassett

Meet Our Team

One of the reasons why every Sunrise home is much more than just a care home is the team of people working there. Every hour of every day, Sunrise team members are working to make sure that our residents enjoy life as fully as possible. Here are just a few of the people you’ll find at your local Sunrise care home.

Joanna Audley, General Manager

I have had a varied career so far including over 10 years' experience in management and quality assurance. I started out in mining engineering until deciding that I absolutely had to become a nurse, completing my nursing degree at the University of Surrey. I have since spent the last few years in a variety of positions in both the NHS and private sector, these include respiratory and intensive care nursing, quality auditing and management at both home and regional level.

I can honestly say working at Sunrise of Bassett is like no other care environment I have experienced. It has an amazing feeling of home and community. My role at Sunrise Senior Living gives me professional satisfaction due to the uniqueness of the Sunrise mission, allowing me to build meaningful, caring relationships with my residents, and their families and friends. I feel extremely privileged to lead the team at Sunrise of Bassett, and am passionate about delivering on our promise to champion the quality of life for all seniors.

Lisa Roberts, Reminiscence Co-ordinator

I have loved working at Sunrise from day one, I am proud of the care and lifestyle we offer our residents and I aim to improve this as each day passes.

I love working with seniors and I am pleased to be a part of a great team of people who all strive for the same goals.

Karen Grant, Activities and Volunteers Co-ordinator

Activities are at the forefront of the care we deliver at Sunrise. I am proud of the quality of activities we have on offer every day of the week.
