Meet Our Team

One of the reasons why every Sunrise home is much more than just a care home is the team of people working there. Every hour of every day, Sunrise team members are working to make sure that our residents enjoy life as fully as possible. Here are just a few of the people you’ll find at your local Sunrise care home.

Anna Chioaru, General Manager

Before joining Sunrise, I worked in the health and social care sector for over 13 years. My experience comes from previously working as a Registered Manager. I am passionate about working with the elderly. Our mission at Sunrise is to champion quality of life for all seniors, and it's one of my most valued beliefs.

Pranav Vaidya, Reminiscence Co-ordinator

I have been working in the healthcare sector for over 12 years. Before joining Sunrise, I gained invaluable experience by working as a Manager for a care home specialising in delivering care to those living with dementia. I thoroughly enjoy being part of our residents and their families' journey whilst living with dementia. I feel most rewarded when I am able to bring a smile on their face.

Jane Harris, Activities and Volunteers Co-ordinator

My role is to ensure that all our residents are able to enjoy activities and entertainment which appeal to them individually. Our residents have all led full and active lives so why should that stop simply because they are now in residential care?

It’s great to be able to work with residents, get to know them and incorporate their ideas and feedback into our activities programme. Every day is filled with fun – just as it should be!

Maxine Freeman, Assisted Living Coordinator

Maxine I am responsible for the care and well being of my residents and my team. My role is to ensure that we deliver exceptional care, by meeting the specific needs and preferences of our residents at Sunrise of Bagshot. With a background in social care, I am delighted to work with such a caring team at Sunrise, and continue to be passionate about working with the elderly.

Melanie Grigg, Director of Community Relations

My role is to help families and residents from their very first enquiry through to moving in to our community. It can sometimes be a very difficult and emotional time with a huge transition for everyone involved. It gives me real pleasure to take people on a tour of our community and then see them settle in, make new friends and join in with activities that they were no longer able to do before coming to Sunrise.

I love seeing the smiles on the faces of family and friends when they come to visit their loved ones, knowing that they made the right decision to come to Sunrise. It’s such a rewarding job!
