Sunrise of Virginia Water has not been able to welcome visitors since the UK lockdown in March due to Covid-19 restrictions. So, Lead Concierge Jackie thought residents deserved a special visit from her new puppy Lexi.

All the residents and team members fell in love with Lexi, she is a beautiful spaniel puppy. The care home plan to welcome her back soon so residents can see her again.

Muriel, Resident at Sunrise of Virginia Water said:

“I was so pleased and happy when Lexi came to visit us, I am an animal lover. My daughter Jill also has a puppy spaniel called Mabel.

“Mabel also comes to visit regularly with Jill. I can’t wait to see the puppies come in again as they always bring a smile to our faces. I really enjoy pet therapy.”

Tracy Campbell, Director of Community Relations at Sunrise of Virginia Water, said:

“I was so happy when Jackie brought her puppy to visit us, Lexi really uplifted the spirit in the community. I look forward to when we can resume to our usual events and visits and welcome in other animals as pet therapy for our residents.”
