Sunrise of Edgbaston Spreads Festive Joy at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham
Special deliveries were made across the elderly care wards at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham this week, with a delicious treat of a mince pie and handmade Christmas card written by children for patients and staff.
The team from Sunrise of Edgbaston came to the hospital to deliver the festive snacks as well as cards to elderly patients and were helped out by the Charity team and activities coordinator Jo Bubb. The delicious mince pies as well as heartfelt Christmas wishes went down well with patients and staff alike.
Jo Bubb, activities coordinator at QEHB said: "Huge thanks go to the team from Sunrise for their kind donations of the mince pies to patients and staff across the elderly care wards this Christmas. It is so nice to be able to offer our patients a bit of Christmas cheer and make them smile, a special thank you also goes to the children who took the time to decorate the beautiful glittery cards, our patients loved them so much.”
