Local care home, Sunrise of Frognal House, recently marked its 20th anniversary with a celebratory party and fete.

The community welcomed friends, family and neighbours to join team members and residents for the day, which included a hugely popular dog show. Frognal House’s very own chef Dee was also on hand to prepare a special 20th anniversary cake for all to enjoy, whilst guests had the opportunity to win a host of raffle prizes.

One of Frognal House’s oldest residents, Patricia Fowler, cut the ribbon to declare the fete open. The 91-year-old has lived at Sunrise of Frognal for 11 years and commented when cutting the ribbon: “the staff here really know how to look after you and they are all so kind.”

Another resident, Rita Hunt’s, daughter also commented that on what a “fantastic day” she and her family had.

Nicola Winter, Activities Coordinator at Sunrise of Frognal House, said:

“We are thrilled to be celebrating our very special 20th anniversary here at Sunrise of Frognal House. This was a wonderful occasion to bring together our residents and their guests, and everyone had a lovely time socialising and enjoying the day’s activities.
