When it comes to dietary supplements, there is an almost bewildering array of vitamins and minerals to choose from. If you are worried about your ageing parent's health, you may be tempted to suggest some supplements to improve their well-being. Although certain additives like cod liver oil have been shown to improve joint function in elderly people, some individuals believe fish oils rich in Omega 3 also have cognitive benefits, or can even delay the onset of conditions like Alzheimer's disease.
