Julie McDonnell, Business Office Coordinator at Sunrise of Bassett, is celebrating 15 years of service at the care home. Julie has worked at Sunrise of Bassett since the day the home first opened in 2006.
In her role as Business Office Coordinator, Julie assists with the recruitment process. She also helps with HR, resident finance, monitoring compliance in training, DBS checks, and she supports the other heads of departments with admin.
“I saw Sunrise of Bassett when it was under construction and I thought, that’s a place I would like to work. When I saw the role of Business Office Coordinator, I knew the job would suit my skills and I was excited about the opportunity to help residents and offer good customer service to them and their families.
“I love helping to solve the queries of team members and residents, and I have the opportunity to join in with the social aspect of the home.
“My job at Sunrise of Bassett doesn’t always feel like ‘work’, as we have lots of fun and laughs too. It is a comfort to know that I may have helped to make someone’s day a little brighter.”
