“I re-joined Sunrise in August of 2015, as a Care Home Advisor, having previously worked for Sunrise as part of the Family Liaison Team. The main part of my role is to talk to families as they start their search on behalf of one of their parents or a loved one, quite often I will speak to someone who is managing a crisis situation with a loved one in hospital or a difficult situation at home, and I can help by guiding them as they begin to navigate their way through the different options to consider.

“Previously as part of the team in a brand new community, it was my role to help and support new residents as they moved into their new home, Sunrise. It was my job to ensure everything with their move went as smoothly as possible, and it gave me great pleasure to see them settle in and enjoy their lives at Sunrise. My role now involves helping and guiding families as they look at options for their loved ones, sometimes they find themselves dealing with an emergency situation and need to find somewhere very quickly for their loved one, my role is to support them in finding the right home, for their own situation.
