Sunrise Wins 'Gold' Assisted Living Award

Sunrise of Cardiff attained the Gold Award for the ‘Best Assisted Living Development’ in The Daily Telegraph's 'Your New Home Awards' in March this year.

At an awards ceremony held at the Globe Theater in London, with over 200 people in attendance, Sunrise Senior Living managed to impress the Judging panel over a number of other notable care providers and attained the Gold Award.

The judges stated when presenting the award:“The main factor in this category was to find a development where the residents received extra care without limiting their sense of independence. Every Sunrise has a separate secure area devoted to the special needs of seniors who are experiencing memory loss through Alzheimer's disease or other conditions. While many projects provide comfort and security, the judges felt that Sunrise of Cardiff, with its emphasis on helping residents in need of additional support was the obvious winner.
