Summer Activies Including Dementia Awareness Week

Tuesday 30th June, 3.00pm. What Exactly is Assisted Living. If you wanted to know more about assisted living, now is your chance to find out all about it – Refreshments and a light hearted talk from our Assisted Living Coordinator, James Chalk.

Tuesday 7th July, 3.00pm. Tea Dance. Traditional tea dance with pastries cakes and tea served in Bone china with live music and dancing.

Dementia Awareness Week Fundraising Activities
Wednesday 8th July, 3:00pm-4:00pm. Fund Raising Tea Party. Come and enjoy an excellent cup of tea (or coffee if you prefer) with cake. We will be charging 50p a cup - all of which will go to the Alzheimer’s Society. For every cuppa bought we will match your 50p with another 50p.

Thursday 9th July, 3:00pm. Dementia Awareness. Seminar Hannah Dent will be giving a seminar on dementia and the key signals for concern, and will also be giving key information on how to care effectively for an older person with the symptoms of dementia. Complimentary refreshments will be served including a light buffet.
