Summer Activites and Talks - Book Today
Thursday 2nd July, from 6:00pm. Talk Given By The Voluntary Association for the Blind. Richard James will discuss ways in which we can help those with impaired vision.
Tuesday 7th July, 3:00pm. Brewing up a Storm. This is Alzheimer’s Society's awareness week. Join us for a traditional tea, scones and music - which is a great way of getting people together over a cuppa to learn about dementia and donate to this worthy cause.

Local Resident Scores Respite Stay At Sunrise
A local Purley resident and Arsenal first team defender, Kieran Gibbs, wanted to treat his grandmother to some quality respite care after unfortunately breaking her arm recently. At 71 years old, Jean Simpson didn’t want to trouble her family and was very happy to enjoy a spell at a local care facility. After a quick search on the web, Jean’s daughter found just the place for her located nearby. With beautiful landscaped gardens, restaurant style dining, attentive senior care and nursing support available round-the-clock, its was thought Sunrise was the perfect solution for a restful stay whilst recovering.

Sunrise of Purley Now Offering Nursing Care
What does it mean for our residents?
Sunrise of Purley will remain the same comfortable, homelike and enjoyable place to live. But now we are extending our care services so that additional nursing will be available 24 hours a day. It means that residents and families have the reassurance of knowing that if nursing care is required later, Sunrise can provide it.
The new registration is also an acknowledgment of our competency and expertise in caring. We have been participating in rigorous training to ensure that all residents receive the best assistance and care possible. But the really good news…As a result of our new registration it means that residents assessed to receive nursing care will be eligible for NHS Funded Nursing Care contributions. This is an amount of £106.30 per week paid as a contribution towards your weekly fees.
