• Sunday September 7th to Friday 12th September: 007 week, James Bond themed week culminating in a closing night Casino on the Friday, commencing 7.30pm.
• Wednesday 10th September at 6.30pm: Macular Degeneration Seminar - given by Dennis Lewis from the Macular Disease Society.
• Tuesday September 16th at 6pm: Alzheimer’s Society Talk. Lauraine Robinson from Croydon's Alzheimer’s Society will be speaking.
• Wednesday 17th September from 2.30pm to 4.30pm: Tea at the Ritz event
• Friday Morning, 26th September: Macmillan Cancer Support 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning' event.
• Friday 26th and Saturday 27th September, 10am and 4pm: Open House weekend. All are welcome to come along and experience our extensive quality-care facilities as well as sumptuous living accommodation - all set in beautiful landscaped grounds. With refreshments on hand on your arrival, come along and discover what sets this Sunrise community apart from other care providers in the Purley area..... and beyond.

Great News! Nursing home registration has been awarded to Sunrise of Purley.

But what does it mean for our residents?

Sunrise of Purley will remain the same comfortable, homelike and enjoyable place to live. But now we are extending our care services so that additional nursing will be available 24 hours a day. It means that residents and families have the reassurance of knowing that if a higher level of nursing and care is required later, then there will be less chance of a need for change.

The new registration is also an acknowledgement of our competency and expertise in caring. We have been participating in rigorous training to ensure that all residents receive the best assistance and care possible.

But the really good news…

As a result of our new registration it means that residents may be eligible for NHS Funded Nursing Care contributions. This is an amount of £101 per week paid as a contribution towards your weekly fees.
