Friday 5th February, 3.00pm-5.00pm. Time For A Cuppa.
Our lovely Reminiscence Neighbourhood would like you to help them with
fund raising for Admiral Nurses, who provide support for those with dementia and their carers at home. Come and ‘Have A Cuppa’ and cake in
our dementia area and do a crossword with our residents. This national
event has been sponsored by Fiona Phillips whose own father suffers
from Alzheimer’s disease. Call the community to let us know you are
coming so we won’t run out of cake!
Friday February 12th, 12.00 midday. February Couples Valentines Lunch. Come and join us with your partner for a romantic lunch served in our beautiful dining room.
Afterwards, you are invited to take a look round our community and meet our wonderful care team and discover how Sunrise offers seniors an uplifting environment for the mind, body and soul by providing an array of events and activities promoting freedom and independence.
You'll be able to find out how couples can continue to live together at Sunrise, and view our larger suites which are ideal for couples.

Thursday 18th February, 6.00pm-7.00pm. Understanding Dementia. Would you like a better understanding of dementia - its causes and how it can be managed? Do you have a loved one who might of been diagnosed with a form of dementia? Karen Benham, our Memory Loss Coordinator will describe some of the most common forms of dementia and how Sunrise Senior Living is able to support those with this condition in a loving, caring and stimulating environment. Specifically Karen will explain Sunrise's unique philosophy to managing such conditions through Sunrise's specialist Reminiscence Neighbourhood. Tuesday 23rd February, 2.30pm-4.00pm. Musical Afternoon. Come and join us for a recital by Rebecca Jones as she plays some beautiful music on the harp in aid of the Sue Ryder Charity. You also have an opportunity look round our community and meet the care team and discuss senior care concerns, now or in the future. Please just call the community to let us know that you are coming.
