Upcoming Sunrise Summer Events - Book Today
Sunday 1st August, 3pm. Musical Workshop. Join us in a musical workshop, combining musical instruments, old-time records and audience participation.
Tuesday 3rd August, 11.00am. Music for Health. Musical Therapists who bring together dancing and singing to help benefit those with dementia.
Thursday 12th August, 3.30pm. Alan Poulton on Piano. Get those feet tapping and those hands clapping for an afternoon of entertainment, featuring all those favourite songs from times gone by.

CQC Rates Sunrise of Chorleywood
Sunrise Senior living of Chorleywood is rated ‘Good' in its provision of Assisted Living and Dementia (Reminiscence) care services by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England and the Good rating means that people who use these services experience “good quality outcomes”.
In respect to Assisted Living, the CQC considered the community to be a "newly purpose built home which is attractively decorated and exceptionally kept clean offering residents a pleasant environment to live."
Of our Dementia care services, the CQC determined that perspective residents, in terms of health and personal care, "can be confident that they will receive the support they need, to maintain a good standard of personal care....", whilst in regards to daily life and social activities, residents experienced “excellent quality outcomes”, with their “feeling of individuality and well-being recognised and maintained through contact, activities and events that would be important to them and link to important times and memories in their life."

Sunrise Wins 'Pet Friendly Care Home of 2009' Award
The Cinnamon Trust, the national charity for the elderly set up to promote the therapeutic benefits of pets, has awarded Sunrise of Chorleywood their highest accolade, the 'Pet Friendly Care Home Of The Year' Award - 2009.
Of the three thousand entrants, Sunrise of Chorleywood emerged the victor for their enlightened and open approach to pets within the community. It was considered that Sunrise “was full of happy animals and owners, with exceptional facilities and multi-care facilities. The principles of care for the residents provided dignity, individuality, compassion and flexibility and the standard of care and understanding about the animals’ needs was due to a knowledgeable and highly professional management and staff team. I could not criticise anything and would personally have been very happy to live there with my beloved dog.”
