Dementia Awareness Week. Join Us
Sunday 5th - Saturday 11th July 2009. Dementia Awareness Week. The UK's aging population is resulting in increasing cases of dementia.
More and more adults are finding themselves in some way affected by its
challenges. We want to make this a special week by sharing our
experiences with others and to raise money for other organisations
committed to helping seniors with memory loss. To follow are is an event we are holding to raise awareness and much needed funds.
Thursday 2nd July, commences 7pm. Dementia as a Journey Seminar. A fascinating talk by Zoe Elkins, that helps understand the onset of memory loss in older age, and gives an insight into how to provide care, support and comfort for those that are are experiencing it.
