One of the reasons why every Sunrise home is much more than just a care home is the team of people working there. Every hour of every day, Sunrise team members are working to make sure that our residents enjoy life as fully as possible. Here are just a few of the people you’ll find at your local Sunrise care home.

The happiness and well-being of our residents is my absolute priority and I’m privileged to lead a team of exceptionally caring people who make this happen on a day-to-day basis.  The residents are like an extended family to me, and I enjoy getting to know each one individually, often by listening to their incredible life stories or sharing some of their memories.

My door is always open to come and have a chat I like to encourage everyone, both residents and families, to talk to me about any concerns they may have and I’ll always do my best to find a solution.

I think it’s important to be open to new ideas, so we have regular get-togethers where we listen to comments and suggestions about anything from dining, the garden or the activities we provide and we act on as many as we can. It’s all about being a community, so everyone can have their say. It’s a great feeling to look forward to coming to work every day.

Championing the quality of life for all seniors - it’s the mission and responsibility of every Sunrise team member. To achieve that, we invest in our care team. New team members complete a comprehensive Sunrise training curriculum focused on the care and wellbeing of our residents.
