Meet Our Team

One of the reasons why every Sunrise home is much more than just a care home is the team of people working there. Every hour of every day, Sunrise team members are working to make sure that our residents enjoy life as fully as possible. Here are just a few of the people you’ll find at your local Sunrise care home.

Dee Lall, Deputy Manager

Dee

I am a qualified Nurse with over 30 years experience in this field. I have completed Certified Courses in Psychiatric Nursing and Psychology and have worked in various departments in hospitals caring for patients of all ages.

In 2000 I started working with the elderly and found it very rewarding. It is a career where there are always challenges, but the rewards are greater. At Sunrise there is something for everyone.

Tammy Symonds, Reminiscence Co-ordinator

Tammy

I have worked for Sunrise since 2005 across many roles. It is now my pleasure to head a team of care managers who provide quality dementia care within our Reminiscence Neighbourhood.

We strive to make each and every day meaningful for our residents in a homely and lively environment.

Lindsay Massey - Activities and Volunteers Co-ordinator

Lindsay

I have worked for Sunrise since 2010 and have performed a wide variety of roles within the community. Now, as Activities and Volunteers Co-ordinator, I have so many different things I want to bring to our residents: a Choir, book club, theatre trips, joining the National Trust, a gardening group (with our flower beds being raised) the list is endless.

My hobbies are gardening, walking my dog, playing golf, reading and holidays. My family and I have recently purchased a project caravan, which has been a dream for some years. I might even start reading tea leaves!

Olivia Martin-Woodbridge, Director of Community Relations

After previously working in the Retirement and Care Home Sectors and only hearing wonderful things about Sunrise, it is fantastic to now be part of the team! I have a real passion for exceptional care for the older generation, so helping them find the perfect home to live out their golden years is incredibly rewarding. It is a pleasure to work with such a fantastic team, long may it go on! In my spare time I enjoy reading mystery novels, spending time with my lovely family and participating in various fitness charity events for my local area.
