Every hour of every day, Sunrise team members are working to make sure that our residents enjoy life as fully as possible. My role is to provide as much information as possible to families looking for care for their loved ones. This gives them the opportunity to make an informed decision at sometimes a difficult time. I also welcome new residents into our beautiful community and support the families and the new resident through the move in process.Making a significant decision at a critical time is made easy when we have a lovely community, superb food, caring staff and a great activities programme. The one thing that makes my job even better is when a family member or a new resident say it was the best decision they have made and they wish they had made the move sooner.

Making the decision to move home is never easy, the families I meet with are nearly always full of concerns and questions about what life in a care home may be like. It is incredibly rewarding to show how we can offer a solution to the day to day issues that they are facing, whilst providing an environment that preserves dignity and enhances their loved ones quality of life.

I have been at Sunrise Senior Living since 2011. I am passionate about Dementia Care and I feel privileged to be in a position to guide the team and continue to support our residents and their families.I am delighted to lead my dedicated team to ensure we deliver the best person-centred dementia care. Every day is different and to understand the needs of our residents, building relationships with them and keeping in touch with their families, is the most important and rewarding job. Each individual makes my day worthwhile.
